  • "I sought out on a creative venture to find a dance instructor who could help me take my performance dance to the next level… and I found it. I came to Lo asking the question: how to I get the stuck expression out? Lo found me at exactly my level in my performance. We worked on eye contact, using the space, and.. something deeper that’s hard to put words on. It was like Lo could see the center of my expression, and gave me permission to play out those feelings. We created choreography based on what we discovered together. I’m so grateful to have had this time together! Lo is truly an amazing coach, and dancer, and person. 11/10 would recommend!"

All my anxieties of performing "well" were dispelled and replaced with curiosity and passion. Listening to Lo's tips and tidbits on how to mix up the piece I was creating was my favorite part of the session. She has an eye for artistic integrity and isn't afraid to tell you when you aren't creating at your full potential."

  • "I loved having the freedom to choreograph and create with others/on others. It was really nice to collaborate with others because it’s something I don’t get to do a lot but such good things can come from it. I also really enjoyed the tasks that were given to me to help/push me more when choreographing. I was really able to connect with people I wouldn’t have otherwise. Lo always creates a space that makes me feel safe and welcome as well, so I wasn’t super scared to try new things I knew might not work out. I learn something every time I take a class with her. Whenever she sees you struggling she always gives good advice. She strives to push and challenge you just enough to grow and gain valuable knowledge. Specifically, I loved how open she was to seeing how and what we decided to create during the expansion project. It was also nice to gain inspiration from other choreographers. Overall EXPANSION 1000/10!! Highly recommend if you feel the need to create/connect with others in a space where mistakes are allowed."
